It was raining really hard when I took this photo. Actually, if you look closely you can see little rain droplets near the surface of the ocean. A little before I took this photo, I was informed a typhoon was approaching so my family and I cut our sightseeing adventure short and took a speedboat back to our hotel - many vacationers followed suit. However, as many of us were on our merry way back to civilization I noticed a fisherman who did not seem to be avoiding the typhoon... Instead I saw him casting nets; he was totally unfazed by the rain. The moment I saw this, I just had to take it... It was a one shot thing - we were in a speedboat so I only had the chance to take one photo of this fisherman. I hope my composition does not suck. Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
