I know people will probably not like this picture as much as one of a beautiful model or even one of themselves (how vain
 ). Regardless, I decided to upload this because I really want to share my experience when shooting this photo. Because although people might not know who the little boy is, or be aware of the social situation here in the Philippines, this photo does stand for something. When I went to the Payatas dump, I was exposed to things my spoiled butt will not soon forget, probably not ever. It makes me glad to be where I am right now. |
