HAPPY BIRTHDAY EVAN /

My best friend turned 19 last September 22. I'm so proud of her <3 She's accomplished so much and I SERIOUSLY owe her my life. If it weren't for her, I wouldn't have survived high school. She's been there during the best and worst of times, and I sincerely thank her for that. <3

HUGE NEWS: INTERNING - MOVING TO MALAYSIA
Yep, that's right! I'll be moving to Malaysia this October to intern for five to six months. BIG BIG LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE. Besides my family and friend's, I'll FRIGGIN miss the Philippines, Filipinos, and Filipino Food. But I'm looking forward to Malaysia, I hear it's REALLY nice there. Not really sure about the details yet, but I'm leaving October 24. I've had two job interviews so far and I got accepted to Trader's Hotel - which was my first choice for internship... haven't gotten the results from my second interview yet. So yeah, I'll be going there with a few of my schoolmates.

BEAT MUSIC EVENT
Overdue update. Haha. Mina and Pax played for an event arranged by the music org. I messed up tons, but overall it was a very enjoyable experience. I'm not a good bass player. To put it bluntly, I'm a newbie. This event was the first time I ever slapped a bass. EVER EVER. So yeah, result was NOT PRETTY NOR NICE SOUNDING. LOL. But oh well, I love my bandmates~ <3
We played: Sweet Child of Mine (Guns N' Roses), Fly Away (Lenny Kravitz), and Best I ever Had (Vertical Horizon).

I got a package recently in the mail with two of 's COMICS - Vendor and Random Encounter (one he illustrated; the other he wrote and illustrated) They are fantastic! Vendor is really original - quite dark but it's a really good action packed read. Random Encounter IS TOTAL LOVE TOO. It's really witty and very enjoyable. I just want to express my gratitude to Nicc Balce! I'm a huge fan so I was really ecstatic to get these two comics. I've leant it to some of my friends who have similarly enjoyed them. I really recommend them so go buy a copy guys!

OTAKON EK
To the people who asked: I won't be able to make it to Otakon EK tomorrow! I was looking forward to seeing the kuko-pals, awesome photographers, and A LOT of people that will be attending but I have prior engagements with my family. I was especially looking forward to seeing cosplay as Mori from Ouran! WAHH. Oh well, HAVE FUN GUYS!

I'm on sembreak right now, but not for long. This November, my two best friends and I are going to move to Malaysia for our internship at Traders Hotel KL for six whole months. I'm really looking forward to this opportunity, but I'm also quite scared and intimidated by the thought of living alone and surviving on my own (I will essentially be living off what I earn). I will undoubtedly miss the Philippines, Filipinos and Filipino food. I've been shooting a lot, since I don't really know if I'll find the time to plan photo shoots; nor do I know of anyone who'll be willing to model for me while I'm there.

Moving on to happier news...

I was really fortunate enough to meet Chef Bobby Chinn at Fully Booked. I'm a big fan of his show World Cafe Asia; he's a really quirky and fun host. Here are some photos from that day, as well as some out takes from shoots. Speaking of shoots, I just had a really cute couple shoot with *slumberdoll and ~dae-mon1 who were both really good models! They're super nice people! It was okay for a rushed shoot, but I do wish I could've planned the shoot better! :S The deviations are featured below.
